Worrying for many women, the services of Marie Stopes (UK) have been suspended, awaiting reinstatement after the CQC (Care Quality Commission) is satisfied that their policies and procedures are adhered to properly and that no woman’s health will be at risk in any way. They voluntarily suspended services to those Under 18, and surgical abortions over 12 weeks’ gestation until given the ‘green light’ to carry on.
